TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Mechanical Repair Services

Effective Date: 3 March 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern all mechanical repair and service work carried out by our business. By authorizing any repair or service, the customer agrees to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any work.

2. Quotations & Authorization

All work will be carried out only upon written or verbal authorization from the customer. Where additional work is identified during the repair process, we will contact the customer for approval before proceeding. Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

3. Parts Warranty (12 Months)

We provide a 12-month (1 year) warranty on all replacement parts supplied and fitted by us. This warranty is subject to the following conditions:

  • The warranty period begins on the date the vehicle is collected or the repair is completed.

  • The warranty covers defects in materials and manufacturing faults in the parts supplied.

  • Parts must be used under normal operating conditions and in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's specifications.

  • The warranty is void if parts have been tampered with, modified, or damaged due to misuse, negligence, or accident after collection.

  • Warranty claims require the vehicle to be returned to our premises for inspection.

  • We reserve the right to repair or replace the defective part at our discretion. We do not cover consequential losses.

4. Labour Warranty (3 Months)

We provide a 3-month warranty on all labour carried out by our technicians. This warranty covers:

  • Defects or faults arising directly from the workmanship of our technicians.

  • Incorrect fitting or assembly of components installed during the repair.

The labour warranty does not cover:

  • Faults caused by subsequent repairs or modifications carried out by another party.

  • Normal wear and tear or issues unrelated to the original repair.

  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or neglect following collection of the vehicle.

5. Exclusions

The following are excluded from both the parts and labour warranties:

  • Consumable items such as oil, filters, brake pads/rotors, tires, and wiper blades (unless a specific defect is identified).

  • Pre-existing conditions or faults not related to the work carried out.

  • Damage arising from failure to follow recommended service schedules.

  • Vehicles used for motorsport, racing, or other non-standard applications.

6. Payment Terms

Full payment is due upon completion of work and before the vehicle is released. We accept cash, bank transfer, and major credit/debit cards. We reserve the right to retain the vehicle until payment has been received in full.

7. Vehicle Collection & Storage

Customers are requested to collect their vehicle within 3 working days of being notified that work is complete. We reserve the right to charge a storage fee for vehicles left on our premises beyond this period. We accept no liability for vehicles left uncollected beyond 30 days.

8. Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of the original repair or replacement of defective parts. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses including loss of earnings, hire car costs, or damage arising from vehicle downtime. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

9. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information regarding the vehicle and its reported faults.

  • Ensuring the vehicle is safe to work on.

  • Collecting the vehicle within the agreed time-frame.

  • Notifying us of any warranty concerns as soon as they arise.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable local law. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the local courts.

By authorizing repairs, you confirm you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
